OVERVIEW ?
Effective April 1, 2018, the Institute for Integrated Research was established within Aoyama Gakuin University with the aim of conducting integrated projects related to Aoyama Gakuin University 's research from a university-wide perspective.
The University of Tokyo has established the Research Institute for General Studies, the Research Institute for Comprehensive Projects, and the Liaison Center as organizations responsible for planning and formulating distinctive research strategies that should be prioritized by Aoyama Gakuin University, as well as for actually conducting research and leading research across the entire university.
Message from the Director
Building upon the approximately 30-year history of the Research Institute, the Integrated Research Organization (hereinafter referred to as "the Organization") was established within Aoyama Gakuin University on April 1, 2018, with the aim of conducting integrated projects from a university-wide perspective regarding Aoyama Gakuin University 's research.
The organization will build a strong system capable of bringing innovation to the university by strengthening its governance and financial foundation, in order to expand the research and educational base at both the Aoyama and Sagamihara campuses, promote collaboration between the university and society through strategic public relations and the advancement of social and regional contributions.
The organization consists of two research institutes operated with both external and internal funding, and a Liaison Center was established on April 1, 2019. We are confident that, working together, these will accelerate research across a wide range of fields—humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences—at Aoyama Gakuin University, leading to significant achievements.

ORGANIZATION ?
The research implementation bodies will be the General Project Research Institute, which will in principle be operated through external funding, and the General Research Institute, which in principle will be operated through internal funding.
