As the name "Comparative" suggests, Aoyama Gakuin University offers a multifaceted study of the three major fields of art—fine arts, music, and theater and film—allowing students to develop a multifaceted perspective on their chosen area of specialization from the viewpoints of other fields. A major strength of this program is that studying classical works allows students to understand the roots of various aspects of contemporary art.
