About the Study Abroad Certificate

We will guide you through how to apply for a study abroad certificate.

Contents of the Study Abroad Certificate

This document certifies that you are (planning to) study abroad through Aoyama Gakuin University 's partner/accredited institution study abroad program. (Issued in Japanese and English)
The study abroad certificate will include the name and country of the university (or planned university) where you will be studying abroad, the (planned) duration of your study abroad, your name, faculty/department, and date of birth.
Those who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for a certificate of study abroad.

- Current students/graduates who have studied abroad through Aoyama Gakuin University 's partner/accredited institution study abroad program.
- Students currently studying abroad through Aoyama Gakuin University 's partner/accredited study abroad program.
- Current students who have been selected as candidates for Aoyama Gakuin University 's partner/accredited study abroad program.
*Certificates for short-term overseas language/cultural training or study abroad during a leave of absence cannot be submitted.

How to apply

Applications can be made by mail or at the International Center office on each campus.

*Applications cannot be made through the online application service or on-campus automated issuing machines.
* Certificates cannot be picked up at convenience stores or on-campus automated issuing machines.

Applying by mail

Please prepare the necessary documents and mail them to the International Center at Aoyama Campus or Sagamihara Campus.
