Aoyama Gakuin University aims to cultivate individuals who can build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and contribute to companies and society in increasingly diverse work environments. This is achieved by fostering the ability to recognize the diversity of global society from a global perspective, the ability to collaborate with people from various backgrounds and create value together, and communication skills underpinned by language proficiency, through learning within the domestic curriculum and study abroad experiences.

Therefore, it is expected that they will be active in a wide variety of fields that involve international relations, such as trading companies, transportation, telecommunications, information, banking, insurance, construction, real estate, manufacturers, media and advertising, tourism, think tanks, and government.

Furthermore, through learning from faculty members with extensive overseas experience and expertise, and through experiences abroad, we expect students to play active roles in fields with a greater focus on overseas affairs, such as international cooperation organizations, international cultural exchange organizations, domestic and international NGOs/NPOs, and development consultants. In addition, for those who aspire to solve problems themselves, we envision a path to becoming a social entrepreneur.

Admission to graduate school abroad

School of Global Studies and Collaboration has established an "Overseas Graduate School Support Office" consisting of faculty members who have graduated from overseas graduate schools to support students who are aiming to study at graduate schools overseas. The main support provided includes acquiring the basic knowledge necessary to prepare for studying at a graduate school overseas, improving English language proficiency and global skills, holding seminars to help prepare application documents, and individual guidance tailored to the needs of each student.
So far, six students have been accepted into graduate schools abroad.
