About the Research Institute
Established in 1988 by Aoyama Gakuin School Corporation aims to integrate a wide range of academic disciplines in an organic relationship with education and research at Aoyama Gakuin University, and to contribute to the advancement of society and academic culture.
In line with the university-wide research promotion policy formulated by the Institute for Integrated Research, a research unit funded by internal university resources was established in 2018 to promote distinctive research that should be a priority for Aoyama Gakuin University.
This research institute promotes and supports these studies.

Research activities and structure
In addition to the General Research Unit A, B, and C, which are divided according to the size of the budget, the unit system includes the Christian Culture Research Unit. In terms of research content, the requirements are that it must be research with a high social impact that represents the Institute, that it must be urgent or that it must be a novel and groundbreaking project, that it must be planned to fully utilize the aims and characteristics of the Institute, and that it must be organized by one or more researchers.
