With support from adults and society in the home and local community, children grow and develop as individuals and as members of society, build relationships, and begin to participate in various activities. In this course, using materials and data such as official statistics and survey reports, students will learn about children's growth, development, and activities, as well as the state of support from adults and society, deepening their understanding of the characteristics and issues involved, and acquiring the ability to explore ways to solve these issues.

Five Specialized Areas
Five courses are designed to address issues related to local communities and people.
Each program includes practical local training courses that aim to help students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to solve local problems.
In addition, required courses build on the foundational courses and research comprehension courses taught by the faculty, and include seminar courses that deal with practical content to deepen learning. -

The need for local support for home education is being discussed due to concerns about the decline in educational ability in the home and parental anxiety about childcare. In this course, we will touch upon the characteristics of home education and explore the best ways to provide support in a society and home that is undergoing major changes, such as an increase in single-person households, a declining birthrate and an aging society, and an increase in working mothers and non-regular workers.
