Message from the Dean
Graduate School of Social Informatics is comprised of faculty members in the areas of social sciences such as economics and business administration, human sciences such as learning science and psychology, and information sciences such as computer science and information systems. The stance of Graduate School of Social Informatics is to support graduate students through suggestions and discussions from the diverse perspectives of each area of expertise, to invite them to such exciting research activities that lead to the creation of new value, and to make recommendations to society.
To understand multiple areas of specialization through systems thinking is also an activity to connect the "ideas" in each area of specialization. Going beyond existing frameworks means challenging new possibilities. The Human Innovation Course aims to create new value by rethinking "people" and "learning," and the Social Information Course aims to create new value by rethinking "society" and "information.
Please pay attention to Graduate School of Social Informatics 's efforts to challenge knowledge creation by leaping over the framework of existing specialized fields.
