Honorary Doctorate
Aoyama Gakuin University University awards the title of Honorary Doctor to individuals who meet any of the following criteria:
(1) Persons who are recognized as having made significant contributions to the development of religion, politics, economics, society, culture, etc., from a national or international perspective.
(2) Persons who are recognized as having made particularly outstanding contributions to the advancement of education and research at Aoyama Gakuin University or Aoyama Gakuin School Corporation Educational Corporation.
