Women's health event held in collaboration with Otsuka Pharmaceutical
On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, we held a women's health event titled "Let's Learn About My Body Correctly: Secrets to Beauty and Health, Female Hormones" in the lounge on the 3rd floor of Building 17, as part of our collaborative agreement with Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Ms. Kaori Onishi, a lecturer in charge of promoting women's health at the company's Nutraceuticals Division (and an alumna of College of Literature Aoyama Gakuin University), gave a lecture on the relationship between female hormones and health, and changes in physical condition due to menstruation. The participating students listened attentively to this valuable information that they don't usually get to hear.

This initiative is based on the "Cooperation Agreement on Health Promotion, Sports Promotion, and Human Resource Development for the Future" concluded last year between Aoyama Gakuin University and the company. It aims to provide women with accurate knowledge about women's specific health issues from their student days, addressing the challenges of continuing to work while dealing with childcare, elder care, and their own health problems, as they increasingly enter the workforce.
This event was the first of its kind, but we will continue to work with the company to raise awareness of women's health from the student stage and to help them advance in society and build long-term careers.
