TITLE
The "2023 Aoyama School Christmas Tree Lighting Festival - A Service of Waiting for the Nativity"
On Friday, December 1, 2023, Aoyama held its 2023 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – A Service to Await the Nativity.
Since 1977, Aoyama has held a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony every year on the Friday before the start of Advent, the four-week period leading up to Christmas, which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ in the Christian calendar.
For Aoyama, a comprehensive educational institution encompassing Kindergarten Building through graduate school, the "Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - A Service to Await the Nativity" is an important time for each level, from Kindergarten Building to graduate school, to reaffirm the founding principles of the institution. Every year, the entire institution works together with one heart and mind to prepare for it.
You can watch this year's Aoyama Campus torch lighting ceremony on Aogaku TV (YouTube).
