Completion Requirements
Students must choose a research topic under the guidance of a research supervisor, remain enrolled for at least five years, earn at least 48 credits in accordance with the prescribed course registration method, receive necessary research guidance, submit a doctoral degree application thesis, and pass the thesis review and final examination.
In addition, students must pass one other foreign language certification exam. In order to take the doctoral thesis examination and final examination, students must pass the separately stipulated "Promotion Qualification Examination," "Research Plan Examination," and "Final Report Examination."
However, for those who have demonstrated outstanding research achievements, three years or more of study will be sufficient.
In addition, for those who have completed a master's or doctoral program or a professional degree program with a duration of two years or more in one year and have transferred to this program, and who have produced outstanding research achievements, a period of enrollment of two years or more will be sufficient.
Those who are deemed to meet the requirements set forth in the Graduate School Regulations may apply for a Master's degree.

- Those who wish to obtain a doctoral degree after obtaining a master's degree will continue to study in a doctoral program, but those who end their studies upon obtaining a master's degree will be considered to have dropped out of the doctoral program.
